What does scripture say about the SABBATH and The Crucifixion?

What is the HIGH-DAY SABBATH? Is it the same as a WEEKLY SABBATH?... The answer is YES... A HIGH day is technically an ANNUAL Sabbath. Certainly the WEEKLY SABBATH is a day to keep SET APART, but these ANNUAL SET APART DAYS take precedence if they occur on the SEVENTH-DAY Sabbath... Please notice that in John 19:31 also provides some very interesting and DEFINITIVE PROOF of when YAHUSHA DIED and was RESURRECTED.... Let's go to scripture...
Joh 19:31 The Hebrews therefore, because it was THE PREPARATION, that the bodies should not remain upon the stake on the SABBATH DAY, (FOR THAT SABBATH DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away....
YAHUSHA observed the PASSOVER the 14th as HE was the Passover Lamb slain right on time...at the very hour that they would take and kill a lamb. The PASSOVER is ALWAYS on the 14th...the following day is always the 15th and the 15th Sabbath is ALWAYS Sabbath....the FIRST day of UNLEAVENED BREAD is on the 15th and so is the 7th day Sabbath making it a HIGH Sabbath... Let's go to scripture...
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the FEASTS of YAHUAH, which ye shall proclaim to be SET APART CONVOCATIONS, EVEN THESE are my FEASTS.
Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the SEVENTH day is the SABBATH of rest, a SET APART convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the SABBATH of YAHUAH in all your DWELLINGS.
Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even SET APART convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
Lev 23:5 In the FOURTEENTH DAY of the FIRST MONTH at even is YAHUAH'S PASSOVER.
Lev 23:6 And on the FIFTEENTH DAY of the SAME MONTH is the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD unto YAHUAH: SEVEN days ye eat UNLEAVENED BREAD.
Lev 23:7 In the FIRST DAY ye shall have a SET APART convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
There are TWO high Sabbaths per year...the FIRST day of UNLEAVENED BREAD and the FIRST DAY OF TABERNACLES...and they are ONE day each....and FALL on THE SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK... Thus they are called HIGH-DAY being that they are both ANNUAL and WEEKLY.
YAHUSHA Himself said several times that His time in the tomb would be THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, just as the prophet Jonah had spent THREE DAYS and NIGHTS in the fish's belly ... Let's go to scripture...
Mat 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Rabbi, we would see a sign from thee.
Mat 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
Mat 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Mat 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again
Mar 8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Joh 2:18 Then answered the Hebrews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
Joh 2:19 YAHUSHA answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 2:20 Then said the Hebrews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
Joh 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
Joh 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which YAHUSHA had said....
If YAHUSHA ROSE three days and three nights after His burial using THE GREGORIAN CALENDAR... THE ONLY CANDIDATE FOR HIS RESURRECTION IS THE VERY END OF THE SABBATH AT SUNSET!!!... Let's continue with scripture...
Mat 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour YAHUSHA cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My Elohim, my Elohim, why hast thou forsaken me?...
Mar 15:33 And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
Mar 15:34 And at the ninth hour YAHUSHA cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My Elohim, my Elohim, why hast thou forsaken me?
SCRIPTURE just ruled out a "FRIDAY CRUCIFIXION/SUNDAY RESURRECTION" because there is NO WAY TO CRAM THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS BETWEEN SUNSET ON "FRIDAY" AND SUNRISE ON "SUNDAY"!!!!... Using THE GREGORIA CALENDAR, COUNTING BACK THREE FULL DAYS... YAHUSHA WITHOUT A DOUBT had to die "THURSDAY" EVENING which would have been the day of the PASSOVER ... Putting the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD on a "FRIDAY"... Is FRIDAY a Sabbath?!?!... OF COURSE NOT!!!... YAHUSHA and His disciples had observed the PASSOVER... THE ANNUAL SABBATH.....the evening BEFORE... The FOURTEENTH... Look at the SCRIPTURES I gave in Leviticus above... And look what scripture says about the time he entered the BELLY OF THE EARTH...
Mat 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Rabbi saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the PASSOVER at thy house with my disciples.
Mat 27:57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Yahusha's disciple:
Mat 27:58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Yahusha. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
Mat 27:59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
Mat 27:60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
Mat 27:61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
Mat 27:62 Now the NEXT DAY, that followed THE DAY OF THE PREPARATION, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
Mat 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, AFTER THREE DAYS I will rise again.
Mat 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until THE THIRD DAY, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
Mat 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
Mat 27:66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, SEALING THE STONE, and setting a watch.
THE FIRST DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD began just minutes AFTER Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus sealed His tomb!!!
THE GOSPEL account says that, AFTER this, His disciples and the women KEPT the SET APART day... THE SEVENTH DAY... Because the next day was THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK...
Mar 16:1 And when the SABBATH WAS PAST, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
Mar 16:2 And very early in the morning the FIRST DAY of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun....
On THE PREPARATION DAY for the weekly Sabbath, the women prepared spices for His embalming ...THIS WAS A NORMAL SIXTH DAY WORKDAY...
Luk 23:53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.
Luk 23:54 And that day was THE PREPARATION, and the Sabbath drew on.
Luk 23:55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.
Luk 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and RESTED THE SABBATH DAY according to the commandment.
THEY KEPT THE WEEKLY SABBATH. WHEN THEY CAME TO THE TOMB EARLY THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK... MORNING... HE HAD ALREADY RISEN SOME TIME BEFORE. HE ROSE EXACTLY THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS FROM HIS.... INTERMENT ... AND JUST AS HE SAID... AS THE WEEKLY SABBATH ENDED. ... ALL 4 GOSPEL WRITERS CALL THE 16TH DAY OF THE MONTH THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, INDICATING THAT THE 15TH WAS THE SABBATH... THE 15TH OF ABIB WAS A HIGH SABBATH... WEEKLY AND ANNUAL SABBATH... EVERY YEAR!!!... YAHUSHA ROSE SOMETIME THE 18th DAY OF ABIB!!!
My friend, THE MATHEMATICS only work if you use the Father YAHUAH's "CREATION CALENDAR" and absolutely CAN NOT work using ANY OTHER CALENDAR... THAT'S WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS!!!
